  • Super cute place !! The fries and gravy were delicious. My boyfriend had the mushroom Swiss burger and loved it. It had fresh lettuce and tomato on it. 10/10

  • Probably the yummiest onion rings and delish burgers that I've had in a while, served by a crew of kind and hardworking young ladies. A truly pretty, colourful shack just off the main road with sprawling, stunning views of the mountains surrounding Nakusp. Limited outside seating on the spaced out picnic tables in the lawn upfront, a high table with bar stools, another small table with chairs, and some garden seats. Given the constant demand and never-ending stream of customers, it's better to call and order well before pulling in to their tiny adjacent parking lot. The attached restroom is clean, neat and bright, and I loved the poster in there which stated, "Be silly. Be fun. Be different. Be YOU , because LiFE is too short to be anything but HAPPY". We ended up visiting The Paddy Shack twice when passing through Nakusp during a weekend stay in Edgewood, and would eagerly head back for the "Onion Rings that rule them all" of "Lot of the Rings" fame!

  • Nice stop for ice cream, milkshakes, fries, burgers and other yummy goodies! We stopped here for a quick ice cream on a hot summers day, and decided to try their fries too. Super crunchy and delicious fries! Portions are great! Good value for the money.

  • Great place for a quick lunch in Nakusp. Definitely worth stopping just for the apple pie milkshake alone, really enjoyed that more then i thought I would. Decent fish and chips and a good selection on the menu for some classic burgers, fries and shakes. Good amount of gluten free options as well. If your looking for a quick lunch in Nakusp this is the place

  • Food was pretty darn good. Portion sizes were not too bad. Could be bigger for the price. Wish the area was a bit bigger as it gets busy really fast. Please remember to ask what’s on their burgers as I said no tomato and yet it appeared. We tried the “R” burger, kicking chicken and a donair…. All not too bad.

  • We got the 2 piece fish and chips and they were really good! The fries were crispy and fresh and the fish had a good batter / flavor. Good portion for the price (around $15). The milkshake was good too. They have little picnic tables and tables around outside and a bathroom. Busy little place in the summer!
